اليكم الان Gaza’s children on the waiting list… Only 5 patients evacuated out of 75 والان إلى التفاصيل من المصدر الخبر اليمني:

The suffering of patients in the Gaza Strip is not limited to shortages of medicine and medical supplies and the declining capacity of hospitals to provide treatment. It extends to the arduous journey to obtain treatment outside the Strip, given the frequent closures of crossings and the limited number of people permitted to leave.

This suffering is compounded when it comes to children who require urgent specialized care. Waiting for approval for medical evacuation becomes a race against time as they face illnesses and injuries that cannot be postponed.

The evacuation of only five patients, accompanied by five companions, to Jordan on Monday via the Kerem Abu Salem crossing exemplifies this crisis. This is in stark contrast to the planned transfer of 75 children for treatment, as announced by the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip. This incident highlights the gap between the urgent medical needs and the number of patients who are actually able to leave the Strip.
