The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Saturday that 7 martyrs and 28 wounded people had arrived at the sector’s hospitals during the past 48 hours, as a result of the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression.
The ministry explained in its daily statistical report that among the martyrs were 6 new martyrs, and one martyr whose body was recovered. It added that a number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
The ministry noted that since the ceasefire on January 11, the total number of martyrs has reached 1,098, while the number of injuries has risen to 3,535, and 800 rescue cases have been recorded.
