The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sana’a government, Abdul Wahid Abu Ras, considered that the treatment of Saudi Arabia by some international parties as a mediator in the Yemen file has contributed to its persistence in committing crimes and continuing the siege imposed on the Yemeni people, affirming that Saudi Arabia is an enemy and a party to the war.Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:Abu Ras said in statements reported by Saba news agency that “the treatment of the Saudi enemy as a mediator by some parties of the international community has contributed to the level of criminality it has reached in suffocating and killing the Yemeni people by all means and methods, confiscating its wealth, political decision, and dominating everything in the country.”He added: “We have warned and cautioned throughout the past years that the Saudi enemy is the aggressor and criminal party, but some wanted to provide it with cover, thus becoming a partner in its crimes and the continuation of its aggression on Yemen.”He indicated that any party seeking to undertake good offices in the Yemen file must realize that Saudi Arabia is the aggressor party, the one imposing the siege, controlling the ports, wealth, and political decision, according to his expression.He also considered that those he described as “Saudi mercenaries and traitors of the country” could represent Riyadh in any understandings or discussions related to the Yemeni issue.
