Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:A member of the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a, Abdulaziz Saleh Bin Habtoor, warned that the Saudi regime’s move towards militarizing the Red Sea and Bab Al-Mandeb will not protect its ships but will further complicate the situation and increase tension in the region, considering that the Saudi naval coalition represents a cover for the continued aggression and siege on Yemen, and an attempt to overturn the equation by force under flimsy pretexts.Bin Habtoor affirmed that Bab Al-Mandeb remains open to international navigation, and that Yemeni measures are limited to Saudi navigation, indicating that Sana’a is exercising its legitimate right to impose a naval blockade on Saudi Arabia in response to the siege imposed on Yemen, which suffocates more than 30 million people, affirming that this situation will only end with the lifting of the siege on the Yemeni people.He added that addressing the Red Sea crisis is not through militarization but by stopping the massacres in Gaza, lifting the siege on its inhabitants, and ending the Saudi aggression and siege on Yemen.Bin Habtoor criticized the countries participating in the Riyadh meeting, calling on them to urge the Saudi regime to lift the siege and end the humanitarian suffering in Yemen, warning that their involvement in military alliances serving Saudi, American, and Zionist agendas will make them the first losers if the scope of confrontation widens, affirming that those who believe that military coalitions led by Saudi, American, and Zionist forces can impose new equations are delusional.
