The head of the Sana’a national negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdulsalam, affirmed that “Sana’a committed to the truce and de-escalation for four full years, and did not carry out any aggressive action against Saudi Arabia during that time, while Riyadh exploited the period to tighten the siege, escalate economically, and prepare for military operations inside Yemen.”Special Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:Abdulsalam said in a press statement that the Yemeni military operations against Saudi ships, mobilizations, and affiliated camps come within the framework of the legitimate response to Saudi aggressions, including the bombing of Sana’a Airport, affirming that Sana’a has not closed the door to dialogue, and that Saudi Arabia is the one refusing to negotiate despite its talk of peaceful solutions.He pointed out that Riyadh imposed inspection procedures on ships that delay their arrival for months, and targeted banks, money changers, and merchants with decisions made on behalf of the Yemeni government residing in Saudi Arabia.Abdulsalam stressed “the continued commitment of the Armed Forces to defend Yemen’s sovereignty and the rights of its people,” affirming that any upcoming negotiation path must lead to the opening of airports and ports, the payment of salaries, the resumption of oil and gas exports and the direction of their revenues to public services, according to the roadmap.
