It assigned the task of managing files for the western regions to Tareq Saleh, the former leader of the Emirati factions on the western coast.These shares coincided with its beginning to deploy its forces in the oil regions from Shabwa to Marib passing through Hadramawt, with the latter’s official declaration of secession and its annexation to the guardianship office in Riyadh.For its part, government sources in Aden confirmed the beginning of the implementation of the new Saudi plan, indicating that it also includes changes at the level of the Presidential Council and the reduction of its members.According to the previous Saudi plan emanating from the so-called National Dialogue Conference in Sana’a in 2013, those areas were supposed to be divided into several regions. However, Saudi Arabia’s decision to implement the new plan indicates that it has reached the conviction that further incursion into Yemen is impossible.It is noteworthy that Saudi Arabia had preceded the new plan by appointing military governors at the level of each of the aforementioned regions.
