Even missile attacks and airstrikes do not achieve sufficient effectiveness against them and are of no use against them due to Ansar Allah’s ability to hide their activities and locations from surveillance.”Baklanov pointed out that if Saudi Arabia were to wage war again on Yemen, its attacks would only result in casualties among Yemeni civilians, while Sana’a’s combat capability would remain intact and largely unaffected.Baklanov affirmed that Saudi Arabia had previously launched military campaigns on Yemen, but they all ended in failure. He pointed out that, moreover, Sana’a has significantly strengthened its political power and military capabilities.He added: “Therefore, another war against them could be more costly for Riyadh. Hence, the need seems greater to find a new formula for diplomatic dialogue with Yemen rather than trying to solve the problem by force,” noting that “there are still possibilities to overcome the crisis and reach some kind of settlement. This would be better for Saudi Arabia than war.”
