Medical sources indicated that among the dead were two girls, aged 8 and 12, bringing the total number of victims from the same family killed in the attack to four. The bombing coincided with a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting various areas in the northern Gaza Strip, at a time when neighborhoods and residential areas are still suffering from the effects of the widespread destruction left by the war, while thousands of Palestinians are living in harsh conditions, whether inside damaged homes or in displacement tents.
The source added that the occupation forces also bombed tents housing displaced people and ambulances, further increasing the risks faced by civilians and the medical teams working to transport the wounded and respond to the aftermath of the bombing.
These attacks are taking place in areas that witnessed widespread destruction and repeated displacement of residents during the war, making any new targeting a further factor in deepening the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
